REQUIREMENTS:

• Min Diploma in Aviation/Aerospace related disciplines or other relevant qualifications
• Applicants without diploma but with relevant experience are welcome to apply
• Possess Class 3 Driving License
• Able to lift/carry items
• Comfortable with shift work

The Airport Ramp Operations Officer is responsible for the safe and efficient movement and handling of aircraft on the ground. This includes coordinating aircraft parking, overseeing the loading and unloading of baggage and cargo, ensuring adherence to safety regulations, and communicating with flight crews and other airport personnel.

• Direct aircraft to and from gates, ensuring correct positioning and adherence to airport regulations.
• Oversee the loading and unloading of baggage, cargo, and mail. Ensure proper handling to prevent damage.
• Operate ground support equipment such as tugs, belt loaders, and de-icing machines.
• Ensure compliance with all safety protocols and regulations, including proper use of personal protective equipment and safe operation of machinery.
• Coordinate with flight crews, air traffic control, and other airport personnel to ensure timely and efficient aircraft turnaround.
• Maintain accurate records of baggage and cargo handling, equipment usage, and any incidents or discrepancies.
• Be prepared to respond to emergency situations, including aircraft incidents, medical emergencies, and security threats.
