Are you looking for a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity? Ayers Rock Resort is searching for an Airport Operations Supervisor to live and work onsite at Yulara, NT which is 20 min drive from Uluru, one of Australia’s most iconic and culturally significant landmarks.
We are seeking an Accredited aerodrome Reporting and Works Safety Officer with 2-3 years’ experience to lead our Airport Operations Team. This role will see you work with Airport Management, to ensure the continued availability of a safe, secure and well maintained airport, serving Ayers Rock Resort and surrounds. The role is hands-on, as well as responsibility for overseeing Aerodrome Operations Officers (AOO) within a multi-skilled work environment to ensure the operational safety, security, and integrity of the aerodrome is maintained as well as ensuring quality systems are adhered to.
This role requires a Current Full HR Drivers License and ability to obtain an Aviation Security Identification Card (ASIC).
Responsibilities
Allocate projects and tasks to airport operations staff in accordance with all airport needs as set out in the AM and the annual maintenance schedule, including civil works, lamp and other electrical replacements, pavement and runway strip repairs, other repair and labouring tasks
Assist airport management in maintaining operational safety, security and serviceability of the airport, in accordance with the Ayers Rock Aerodrome Manual (AM), Transport Security Program, and ASIC Program; the CASR 139 – Aerodromes, and the Manual of Standards (MOS)
To maintain the airport facilities to the nominated standards
Respond as detailed in the Airport Emergency Plan and Airport Transport Security Program
