Description Avis Car and Truck Rental is currently hiring for a Airport Rental Combo Agent. As a rental counter combo agent you are responsible for providing excellent customer service and sales to travelers by assisting them with renting vehicles as well as preparing cars for their next rental. Key Responsibilities: Vehicle Inspection/Car Detailing: Conduct vehicle inspections before and after rentals, documenting any existing damage and ensuring vehicles are washed and detailed, ready for next customer. Customer Service: Greet customers warmly, answer questions, and assist with the car rental process from start to finish. Sales: Promote upgrades to a more premium car. Advising customers on protection product services and additional services to enhance the customer experience. Contracts: Prepare rental contracts, verify customer information, and ensure compliance with company policies and legal requirements. Problem Solving: Address and resolve customer inquiries, complaints, or issues efficiently and professionally. Vehicle Knowledge: Provide customers with information on vehicle options, features, and pricing. Upkeep: Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the rental counter and surrounding area. Previous experience in a customer service, retail, hospitality, or within the car rental industry is ideal. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to handle stressful situations calmly and efficiently. Valid driver’s license with clean driving record (no more than 2 incidents/accidents in last 3 years). Must be 18 years of age and legally authorized to work in the United States. Hiring is contingent on passing a complete background check and drug screen. Must work weekends.
