As an unarmed Patrol Officer at a high-traffic government airport location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, and maintain a visible presence that helps to deter security-related incidents. What You'll Do: Provide customer service to guests, employees, and vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a government airport location. Conduct access control and identity verification at designated posts, assisting with directing foot and vehicle traffic and/or coordinating with authorized personnel as needed. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including documenting events and communicating updates to site leadership and/or public agency partners. Conduct regular and random patrols of terminals, parking areas, curbside zones, and perimeter areas to help to deter unwanted activity and identify maintenance hazards and/or suspicious conditions. Complete routine reports, activity logs, and incident documentation in accordance with Allied Universal and site requirements, using radios and/or other systems to relay information promptly. Minimum Requirements: Have 1+ years of security experience. Be 21+ years of age. Customer service experience is preferred. Access control and/or badge experience is preferred. Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
