Premium paid shall be based on the position actually worked by the employee. What You'll Do: Provide customer service to visitors, passengers, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a government airport location. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including contacting appropriate airport and/or public agency resources as directed by post orders. Conduct regular and random patrols of terminals, concourses, parking areas, access roads, and perimeter areas to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or policy violations. Control access to restricted areas by monitoring entry points, checking credentials as required, and directing individuals to the appropriate screening and/or authorization process. Complete patrol and incident documentation, communicate observations to Allied Universal supervisors and site contacts, and support crowd management during peak travel periods and/or special events. Minimum Requirements: A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. Be 21+ years of age. Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred. Be at least 21 years of age for unarmed roles; 22+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
