Premium paid shall be based on the position actually worked by the employee. What You'll Do: Provide customer service to travelers, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a government aviation location. Conduct regular and random patrols of terminals, public areas, parking locations, and perimeter routes to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or policy violations; working environments and conditions may vary by post assignment. Monitor access points by observing pedestrian and vehicle traffic, verifying identification and/or credentials as required by post orders, and directing individuals to the appropriate checkpoint or office. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including contacting airport operations and/or public partners, providing clear directions to involved parties, and assisting with scene control as directed. Complete patrol logs, incident reports, and other required documentation, and communicate notable observations to Allied Universal supervision and/or the site representative. Minimum Requirements: Be 21+ years of age. Be comfortable using a computer or tablet preferred. Be at least 21 years of age for unarmed roles; 22+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
