What You'll Do: Provide customer service to all visitors and employees by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a government transportation location. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including documenting observations and notifying the appropriate personnel. Conduct regular and random foot patrols of terminals, parking areas, perimeter areas, and other assigned zones to help to deter unwanted activity and/or policy violations. Monitor access points and restricted areas in accordance with post orders, verifying credentials when required and/or directing individuals to proper check-in locations. Complete daily activity reports and incident reports, support entry screening lines and/or crowd and queue management as directed, and communicate with on-site personnel using radios and other approved devices. Minimum Requirements: Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred. A guard card/license is preferred. Customer service experience is preferred. Being able to lift more than 20 lbs is preferred. Be at least 20 years of age for unarmed roles; 22+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
