Responsibilities

Based on site at Cape Preston (SINO Iron Airport), this is an exciting full time FIFO opportunity from Perth to join our Ground Handling team as an Airport Services Officer/Ground Handler.

This role is responsible for ensuring safe, timely, and efficient ground handling and airport services for our customers. The successful candidate will work closely with the Airport Management Team and actively comply with company safety and security standards. As an Airport Services Officer/Ground Handler, your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

  • Aircraft ground handling, including receipt and dispatch, baggage and cargo handling (up to 32kgs), and ground communications.
  • Check-in and customer service, including AVANTIK system setup, preflight editing, boarding, and disruption management.
  • Ground service equipment operations, including safety checks, fueling, and fuel management (subject to training and approval).
  • Flight administration, including manifest management, processing of go-show/no-show passengers, and document preparation.
  • Compliance with safety, security, OH&S, and environmental regulations, including incident reporting and adherence to company policies.
  • Assisting in training for new and existing staff (subject to approval) and supporting other airport bases as required.
