A SNAPSHOT OF YOUR ROLE The Airtime Implementation Executive works as part of the Commercial team to ensure effective management of broadcast airtime across assigned stations. The role requires strong attention to detail, clear stakeholder communication, and a proactive approach to log management, bookings, material instructions, and campaign delivery. The position was formerly known as Airtime Manager. Bookings Management Check and accept all bookings into Aquira within a two-hour turnaround where reasonable. Follow up with Sales and Programming on any bookings that fall outside broadcast rules, identifying agreed solutions prior to acceptance. Ensure all bookings comply with the approval policy and adhere to audit and finance requirements. Reconciliation Reconcile previous day logs daily and ensure any errors are communicated and corrected promptly. Material Instructions Communicate regularly with Sales, Creative, and Production to advise on material instruction and audio requirements in line with broadcast deadlines. Process material instructions accurately for allocated stations or brands. Monitor live read instructions closely and check against rosters and talent availability. Audio and Compliance Ensure all broadcast content adheres to regulatory requirements and broadcasting standards. Liaise daily with Production to confirm all audio is loaded and ready for campaigns to run without issue. Log Management Schedule daily broadcast logs accurately and in compliance with station policies, coordinating placement of advertisements, promotional spots, and credits in line with set clocks. Work with the team to maximise inventory on broadcast logs to achieve business revenue targets. Liaise with the Programming function to ensure smooth campaign delivery while accommodating programming needs. Export logs during the day and produce a final export after all final checks are completed. Complete end-of-day report checks including spot zone verification, networking checks, and distribution of the daily log and live email to relevant Programming and On Air contacts. Thoroughly check ZETTA and ISCI reports, flagging and resolving any issues identified. Reporting Complete weekly and monthly reporting within allocated timeframes. Keep station documents and allocated resources current and accurate, including live read talent costs entered by the 15th of each month. Team and Continuous Improvement Work collaboratively within the team hub to cover all allocated tasks, communicating daily on workload distribution across all assigned stations. Work within established airtime systems, rules, and processes, ensuring consistency across the department and upholding network brand standards. Actively identify process improvements and communicate these regularly with internal functions. Undertake projects and additional duties as directed by your Manager. A BIT ABOUT YOU Qualifications and Experience Experience in a broadcast airtime, media operations, or traffic management environment preferred. Demonstrated ability to manage multiple competing priorities accurately and within tight timeframes. Sound working knowledge of airtime booking systems; experience with Aquira or similar platforms is an advantage. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Outlook and Excel. Attributes Exceptional attention to detail with a strong focus on accuracy across bookings, logs, and material instructions. Clear and proactive communicator, able to engage effectively with Sales, Creative, Production, and Programming stakeholders. Collaborative team player who can also work autonomously and manage their own workload. Solutions-oriented approach, with the ability to provide flexibility within guidelines to meet client and campaign needs.
