  • Senior secondary school qualification or equivalent
  • Effective time management and strong organisational skills
  • Well-developed computing skills, including Microsoft Office
  • Excellent verbal and written communication
  • Ability to work autonomously and in a team
  • A genuine commitment to safety, compliance, and performance

While this is a trainee role and prior industry experience is not required, knowledge in the following areas is advantageous:

  • Understanding of Alliance’s CAME and AIM documentation
  • Basic familiarity with aircraft manufacturer documents
  • Interest or understanding of aviation maintenance software systems
  • General aviation or engineering-related background (even from study)
  • Strong attention to detail and data accuracy
  • Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced technical environment

Responsibilities

WHAT’S THE ROLE ON OFFER?

Based onsite at our Brisbane Head Office, the Airworthiness Compliance Trainee will play an essential role supporting the Maintenance Program team within CAMO (Continuing Airworthiness Management Organisation). Working closely with the Maintenance Program Manager, you will assist in maintaining the accuracy and compliance of Alliance’s aircraft maintenance programs. This is an exciting entry-level opportunity to kickstart your aviation compliance career and will include but is not limited to:

  • Support the review and approval of changes to the Maintenance Program
  • Assist in processing technical documents such as MRB, MPD, ALI, LLP & SBs
  • Help create and schedule tasks/templates in the Maintenance Computer System
  • Assist with loading new aircraft, assemblies, and components
  • Ensure document transfer to Tech Records/Document Control
  • Carry out any additional tasks as directed by the Maintenance Program Manager
