BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Minimum 10-years aviation/aerospace industry experience with an aeronautical degree.
  • Previous experience in Root Cause Analysis, Containment Action Definition and Implementation, Corrective Action Definition and Implementation for Occurrences, Risks and Hazards.
Responsibilities
  • Support the Office of Airworthiness in investigations relating to occurrence reports Root Cause Analysis, Containment Action Definition and Implementation, Corrective Action Definition and Implementation for Occurrences, Risks and Hazards.
  • Support the Independent Monitoring Function and OOA in development of Corrective Actions for findings from internal and external sources.
  • Work with the OOA, IMF, SM and engineering teams to develop, implement and raise awareness of process, quality and safety improvements developed by the organisation.
  • Collaborate with teams across all DOA sites to ensure that process improvements developed from all sources are suitable for all locations and work scopes.
  • Assist the OOA in publication, training and awareness of improvements / updates to DAS processes.
  • Be able to travel domestic and/or international travel occasionally, normally on a short term (< 1 week) basis.
