To support our Company’s growth, we are looking for an enthusiastic AIT (Assembly, Integration & Testing) Engineer to support the design, assembly, and testing of Small Satellite platforms as well as subsystem development. The new colleague will be part of the AIT & Design Unit and will have the opportunity to be involved in all phases of the projects, throughout the entire product lifecycle, from preliminary design to test phases, focusing on integration and testing campaigns.

GENERAL REQUIREMENTS

  • High School Diploma or Technical Bachelor’s degree.
  • At least 2 years of work experience in similar roles within the aerospace sector.
  • Experience with 3D modeling software.
  • Proficiency in MS Office tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Excellent written and oral communication in English.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCES & SKILLS

  • Experience in design and preparation of technical drawings in the mechanical and aerospace sector.
  • Familiarity with product lifecycle development and industrial activities, including reviews.
  • Proficiency in SolidWorks 3D.
  • Knowledge of high-strength materials, manufacturing processes, and surface treatments.
  • Basic understanding of 3D printing processes.
  • Ability to operate dimensioning and measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, scales, load cells, microscopes, etc.).
  • Strong technical report writing skills.
  • Good manual skills in mechanical and electrical assemblies.
  • Hands-on experience with laboratory tools and equipment for manual integration and testing of space hardware.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, critical thinking, and creativity to tackle technical challenges.
Responsibilities

As an AIT Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the successful design, integration and testing of our products, working closely with cross-functional teams to optimize product reliability and performance.

Your activities will include (but are not limited to):

  • Designing Ground Support Equipment (GSE) for Assembly, Integration, and Testing (AIT) activities.
  • Supporting harness design and feasibility assessment.
  • Support Technical Area Responsible in the integration and testing phases.
  • Performing integration and test activities, including setup and execution, of the satellite or subsystems within an ISO8 clean environment.
  • Writing integration and test procedures.
  • Preparing and supporting launch site campaigns.
  • Supporting the design and AIT Plan development for New Product Introduction (NPI).
