Required Skills and Experience •3+years of Pre-sales or solution architect experience, including client proposals, RFP responses, and PoC design/execution •3+years of hands-on experience in cloud migration and modernization (AIX workload migration is a plus) •Deep domain knowledge of AIX (6.1, 7.1, 7.2, 7.3), including system administration, LPAR management, and troubleshooting •Prior consultative selling experience •Externally recognized as an expert in the technology and/or solutioning areas, including technical certifications supporting subdomain focus area(s) including: Application Data and AI; Cloud; Core Enterprise and zCloud; Digital Workplace; Network and Edge; Security and Resiliency •Native Japanese Proficiency Preferred Skills and Experience •Knowledge of Azure infrastructure (VM, storage, networking, ExpressRoute, VPN) and Skytap on Azure •Proven contribution to sales targets and deal acquisition •Experience with Backup/DR solutions (BRMS, MIMIX, FalconStor, Veeam, etc.) •Understanding of modernization strategies (API enablement, containerization, OpenShift on Power, hybrid integration) Being You Diversity is a whole lot more than what we look like or where we come from, it’s how we think and who we are.
