Overview A wonderful family located in Bronxville, NY, is looking for a full-time nanny for their sons, a 8-month-old and a 2.5-year-old, to ideally start immediately. The schedule will be Monday through Friday, 7:30 am-6 pm, with the flexibility for occasional weekends and/or date nights. The family is a modern household with two working parents. They are looking for someone who is professional and can maintain boundaries, but who is also friendly and comfortable in their home, and able to be a part of their family long-term. Overall, they value parenting styles that can help with positive reinforcement discipline, instilling good values, manners, and respect, but also be playful and engaging with their sons. Responsibilities Overall care for the baby and toddler Creating developmental and age-appropriate sensory play and activities Keeping them engaged Taking on outings Helping with nap routines and sleep schedules Bottle feeding and helping with the transition to solids when the time comes for the baby, and snack and meal prep for the toddler Help with bath-time and bedtime when needed. Light child-related housekeeping, organizing, and keeping child areas tidy, helping with bottles and sterilization, etc Bottle feeding and helping with the transition to solids for the baby, and snack and meal prep for the toddler School pick-ups and drop-offs are daily Qualifications Caring, warm, happy to see the children every day Responsible Patient Takes initiative/proactive and able to step in where needed without having to be asked Has experience with infants and toddlers Knowledgeable in milestones and child development Can prioritize their children's care while at work and help maintain a schedule and routine The energy necessary to care for an infant and toddler boys. Open to traveling with the family in the future Requirements Valid driver’s license Exceptional organization and communication skills Swimming is ideal, or comfortable in the water with children Comfortable and able to walk with the boys in a stroller daily, high energy CPR and First Aid Certified, or willing to certify before employment US Passport, Green Card, or EAC Salary and Benefits Standard benefits of 2 weeks’ vacation, sick days, and holidays offered Starting at $40/hourly commensurate with experience
