Job Details Job Location: Pasadena Highlands - Pasadena, CA 91104 Position Type: Full Time Salary Range: $18.04 - $20.00 Hourly Job Shift: Any ***$350 Hiring Bonus** $175 paid out at hire and $175 after 6 months of employment*** Pasadena Highlands is looking for dependable and caring individual to join our team as a Caregiver in Assisted Living. General Description: Performs personal services for residents needing assistance with activities of daily living. Salary: Starting at $18.04/hour Schedule: Full Time and Part-Time and must work at least 1 weekend day. AM Shift: 6:30am - 3pm PM Shift: 2:30pm - 11pm Benefits: 401K Health, Dental & Vision Insurance for Full Time employees Paid Time Off Complimentary Meals Qualifications Duties: • Based on assignments provided by supervisor, meets the personal care needs of residents including, but not limited to: assistance with bathing, grooming, dressing, shaving, walking (with and without assistive devices), escorting, reminding, incontinence care, and room checks. • Assists residents with dining services as necessary. • Changes linen as necessary and completes daily tidying in apartments. • Provides companionship to residents. • Encourages residents to participate in self-directed activities. • Encourages, and/or redirects residents with mild cognitive impairment • Seeks assistance in performing duties as necessary and appropriate. • Reports and documents personal care services rendered. • Reports any observations regarding resident condition or behavior and/or incidents to supervisor. • Attends and participates in committees, training programs and staff meetings. • Performs other duties as assigned. Ability and Experience requirements: • Must have criminal record clearance. • Must attend required amount of training programs each year. • Must have a current basic First Aid Card. • Must be at least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

The caregiver performs personal services for residents needing assistance with daily living activities and provides companionship. They also assist with dining services and maintain cleanliness in residents' apartments.
