• Proven experience in alarm or electronic system installations (essential).
• Good understanding of IP networking and cabling practices.
• Electrical knowledge with fault-finding ability.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a small team.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
• Full UK driving licence (essential).

THE ROLE

We are looking for a hands-on Installation Engineer with a background in electronic installations and networking. You’ll be responsible for installing, commissioning, and maintaining alarm and CCTV systems, along with associated cabling and networking. The role is varied, covering multiple farm sites, so flexibility, problem-solving, and a proactive approach are essential.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Install and commission alarm systems across farming environments.
• Set up and configure CCTV systems and site-wide networking (wired and wireless).
• Carry out cabling, terminations, and fault finding on electronic systems.
• Interpret wiring diagrams and system layouts to deliver accurate installations.
• Work safely with hand tools, power tools, and electrical connections.
• Provide clear handover and basic training to customers on system use.
• Maintain a professional standard on every project, ensuring reliability and compliance.
