What You'll Do Lead Projects End-to-End Lead, develop, and deliver aviation projects from concept through construction – airfield design, pavement engineering, utilities, terminals, and more Oversee production teams, quality assurance, and financial performance Focus on innovative design and technical excellence Coordinate with airports, airlines, FAA, and stakeholders across New Mexico and the Southwest Handle construction administration, grant management, and multi-disciplinary coordination Drive Business Growth Build and maintain strong client relationships across the region Support business development efforts to expand our Southwest presence Contribute to proposal development and capture strategies Represent RS&H at regional industry events and professional organizations Develop Your Career Work alongside experienced aviation leaders who invest in your growth Gain exposure to diverse project types and complexities across the Southwest Mentor junior staff and build leadership skills Position yourself for advancement within an employee-owned firm Participate in firm equity and bonus programs What We're Looking For Required Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from ABET-accredited program 7+ years of civil engineering experience, with 4+ years in aviation PE license or ability to obtain within 6 months Proven ability to lead design teams and manage project delivery Strong technical knowledge of aviation design fundamentals Excellent communication and presentation skills Willingness to travel across New Mexico and the Southwest region Proficiency with AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and Microsoft Office What Will Make You a Perfect Fit Existing relationships with Southwest aviation clients Experience with FAA funding and grant administration Background in both design and construction phases Track record of delivering projects on time and within budget Self-motivated with strong organizational skills Thrives in collaborative, team-oriented environments Understanding of regional environmental and climate considerations Why RS&H As an employee-owned firm, your contributions directly impact your future.
