Summary This position works with diverse populations in detox and is responsible for providing individual and group counseling, developing treatment plans, and supporting clients through their recovery journey. Implements a therapeutic recovery plan by performing duties that involve assessments, case management, crisis interventions, and being involved with a multidisciplinary team.  Essential Functions * Conducts AOD Assessments, offers individual counseling, provides referrals and some case management, documents progress notes and formulates treatment goals with clients. * Prepares curriculum materials & co-facilitates group treatment sessions for clients. * Collaborate with the treatment team to develop individualized treatment goals that address the unique needs of each patient. * Supports other staff by assisting with referrals, performing outreach, attending Multidisciplinary Approach to Services, discussing mutual clients, * Monitors client progress and modify their treatment plans as needed. * Coordinates with social and medical agencies, healthcare providers and community outreach programs to provide clients with needed services. * Respond to crises and emergencies, providing immediate support and intervention as needed. * Working towards hours for state certification and staying up to date on the latest practices. * Provides individual recovery sessions to clients and completes accompanying session documentation in database.  * Attend weekly Supervision with Clinical Supervisor  * Assist patients in accessing additional resources and services, including rehabilitation programs, support groups, and community resources. * Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient progress, treatment plans, and counseling sessions in electronic medical records. * On-time completion of assigned training and policies. * Performs other duties as assigned. Qualifications * High School Diploma/ GED   Registered as Student and currently enrolled in an Accredited Alcohol and other Drug Studies School for AOD education.  Must have Experience in 12 core functions and/or 8 practice dimensions. * CPR certified (can be obtained after hire) where appropriate.  * Basic user of MS Office and electronic health record systems * Participate in an annual Tuberculosis screening and/or other screenings when necessary. Reasonable accommodations may be granted * Good time management skills * Must be eligible for Internship or have completed Internship class.  May be earning hours for Certification. * Current registration with CADTP, CAADE, or CCAPP The Pay Rate for this role is based on several factors including the candidate's experience, qualifications, and internal equity. The initial offer usually falls between the minimum and midpoint of the applicable salary range. Pay Band N5: $25.71 – $34.06 (Midpoint: $29.65)
