This is what you will do: • This role, Associate Director, Japan IT Business Partner will serve as Business IT point of contact supporting demand capture, requirement gathering and analysis, co-design, building and end to end solution delivery and change management coordination. • You will partner with business stakeholders (Rare Disease Unit Medical Affairs) at Alexion Japan with strong focus on value creation, experience, change management and adoption of digital solutions and to support the build of our next generation of digital & IT capabilities enabling omnichannel engagement, targeted actions, performance, and insights leveraging existing and emerging digital tools, technologies, platforms, services, and processes. You will be responsible for: • Drive and implement business and digital transformation initiatives by partnering closely with Medical Affairs unit to align IT, Digital & data capability with organizational and business goals and priorities. • Acts as a trusted partner working in close relationship with Business, Digital and IT Teams, at regional and country level to understand key processes, business needs, gaps, and opportunities. • Proactively offer innovative technologies, solution ideas, and potential business process improvements in pursuit of driving efficiencies and meeting business needs - Deliver best in class digital capabilities and innovative solutions creating value and impact to our business, Health Care Professionals (HCPs), and patients. This includes experimentation and MVPs, pilots and proof of concepts leveraging emerging digital technology, GenAI, patient apps etc. • Key contributor supporting our international cross-functional Digital governance. • Serves as an expert to cross-functions on the use of the digital tools and platforms within the Alexion Rare Disease Unit. Act as privileged point of contact for Medical Affairs employees. • Manage and coordinate for success external partner/vendor/agency from onboarding, alignments, oversee, coordination and administration (performance tracking, invoicing, Budget, …). You will need to have: • 8+ years of progressive experience in IT business facing role, supporting digital transformation and enablement, capturing requirement, and delivering solutions, with strong exposure and work with end user, supporting transformation, change management and adoption. • Experience designing and delivering digital assets and supporting technology/ digital operations (websites, databases, mobile apps, social add-ons, marketing automation connectivity) to support corporate and medical affairs plans. • Experience in hybrid Business Analysis and project/ change management, analysis, development and support change management and adoption of projects and new solutions. Agile certification preferred, • Experience influencing and negotiating successful outcomes in both technical and business arenas. • Demonstrated experience and interest in new and emerging technology for direct consumer/end user like GenAI, AR/VR/MR, and user/patient app. • Strong multicounty and multicultural knowledge and experience working with end user and technology/digital platforms (portal, mobile apps, website & landing pages, SEO, Social listening, virtual meetings, webinars and e-congresses, interactive visual aids, approved email, social channels, Marketing Automation, and projects across customer journey, channels and technologies) Ensuring end to end integration, analytics & insights. • Fluent in Business Level Japanese & English proficiency. We would prefer for you to have: • PMP, Agile, ITIL certification preferred. • Degree preferably in IS/IT, Digital technology or equivalent. • Experience in BioPharma, Rare disease, pharma regulated industry. • Experience in matrixial organization • Experience with CMS (preferably Sitecore) Architecture and Design, Common API Classes, Veeva Systems and Security Models. • Experience in transforming the patient or employee experience through GenAI technologies. • Experience in delivering and operationalizing global digital technologies. • Experience in agile project management, development and support of complex projects and solutions.
