Nefesh B’Nefesh is looking for an energetic, organized, and proactive Aliyah Welcome & Experience Coordinator (Rosh Hoopla) to lead the "Hoopla" (welcome) at Ben Gurion Airport. This role is the heartbeat of the arrival experience, ensuring that every new Oleh feels the warmth and excitement of coming home from the moment they step into the terminal. You will be the bridge between logistical planning and celebratory execution – managing everything from welcome group coordination to the perfect Spotify playlist. Please note: This is a temporary position from June-September 2026. Key Responsibilities 1. Logistics & Coordination Flight Management: Monitor upcoming flight schedules and maintain an accurate, real-time spreadsheet including the flight details and the entertainment booked for each flight arrival. Vendor Relations: Book and coordinate entertainment (balloons, musicians, etc.) and facilitate all payments with the Finance Department. Transportation: Arrange and confirm travel for visiting welcome groups (schools, youth groups, camps, and communities). 2. On-Site Execution (The "Hoopla") Event Leadership: Facilitate the arrival ceremony for flights of 20+ people, ensuring a high-energy, seamless experience. Atmosphere Control: Set the stage by managing music, distributing flags to family and friends, and ensuring the "Kappahs" and branding are prominently displayed. Equipment Management: Transport and maintain the "Airport Kit," including speakers, microphones, chargers, flags, kappahs, and promotional materials. Social Media Coordination: Capture high-quality social media content (photos/videos) in real-time of the Aliyah reunions. 3. Communication & Community Stakeholder Liaison: Work closely with Arrival Coordinators and Social Media staff to synchronize timing and messaging. Digital Moderation: Manage and moderate the dedicated WhatsApp groups for Olim greeters to ensure they are informed. Crowd Management: Maintain professional decorum at the airport, ensuring all welcome groups adhere to airport security and safety regulations. Qualifications & Requirements High Energy: You are a "people person" who thrives in a fast-paced, emotional, and loud environment. Logistical Prowess: Ability to manage spreadsheets, track multiple moving parts, and meet tight deadlines. Availability: Flexible schedule to accommodate flight arrival times, including early mornings or late nights. Communication: Fluent in English (Hebrew is a significant advantage for navigating airport staff and vendors). Tech Savvy: Comfortable with WhatsApp, Google Sheets, and basic audio equipment.
