JOB OVERVIEW

As an All-Rounder/Barista at John Ward Fine Coffee, you’ll be a key part of our fast-paced, friendly team. This role requires someone who is versatile, confident, and thrives in a dynamic environment. You’ll rotate between re-stocking, food prep, making quality coffee, and keeping the shop running smoothly during busy periods

REQUIREMENTS

• Previous experience in coffee/food service is essential.
• Excellent time management skills to efficiently handle multiple tasks during peak hours.
• Knowledge of food safety practices is essential; food handling certification is a plus.
• A friendly demeanor with a passion for helping others and providing outstanding customer service.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Restock supplies, prep food items, and assist in basic food handling
• Support other team members during peak hours
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area
• Prepare and serve high-quality espresso-based drinks
• Collaborate with team members to create a positive work environment and support each other during busy periods.

YOU’LL BE GREAT IN THIS ROLE IF YOU:

• Have previous experience in a fast-paced café or hospitality setting
• Know how to pull a proper espresso shot and steam milk (or are eager to learn)
• Are a multitasker who can stay calm under pressure
• Enjoy talking to people and creating a welcoming vibe
• Are reliable, punctual, and take initiative
• Can work weekends and early mornings as needed
