INTRODUCTION:

ConsMin produces some of the world’s highest grade manganese ore and is considered a world leader in manganese mining. Our ConsMin Australian operation (Woodie Woodie) is based in the WA Pilbara, 407kms south-east of Port Hedland. DESCRIPTION:

Reporting to the Team Lead, the successful All Rounder Operator will be required to:
Operate various mining fleet which consists of predominantly Cat 6020B and EX3600 Excavators, Cat Graders 16M and 18M, Cat Dozers D10T & D10T2 & D11 & 854K wheel dozer, Cat Dump Trucks 777F/G & 789 and Cat Water Carts 777F
Dozer task - consist of Floor clean ups to dig RL, Drill pattern preparation, Waste dump pushing and keeping RL correct and Clearing topsoil areas
Grader task - maintaining haul roads (able to keep camber and Crown on roads), Pit haul roads and running track maintenance and Drill pattern preparation
Excavator task – Backup operator as required, in a production environment
Dump Truck task – Hot seating is performed on site or fill in when short staffed

Minimum C class drivers’ license
Current National Police Clearance (No older than 6 months)
Significant experience operating the above machinery in an open pit production mining environment.
Strong commitment to following health, safety and environment policies and procedures.
Excellent organisational, communication skills and high attention to detail.
Applicants must be able to pass a full pre-employment medical, provide a clean NPC (dated within the last 6 months or able to obtain) and provide valid references.
