Responsibilities and Duties include, but are not limited to the following:
· Meet students to go over their homework assignments in the applicable subject area, either online or at our teaching center.
· Ask students about specific academic topics or subject areas that are troubling them. After understanding the student’s situation, systemically review related concepts and extend to other related areas.
· Review recent homework assignments and test scores, and work through problems or questions that the student did not answer correctly.
· Employ study aides to help prepare students for upcoming tests and quizzes.
· Take notes during tutoring sessions to follow up with the student later.
· Take necessary means to ensure better learning outcomes and school grades.
· Provide secure online class feedback, which takes no more than 5 minutes, for one-on-one sessions after the tutoring session ends. There may also be monthly reports for group sessions.
· Communicate with our team about learning outcomes or any other issues that require administrative attention.

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:

· Graduates or current university students.
· Meticulousness, trustworthiness, diligence, punctuality, and passion.
· Take responsibility for students, their mastery of subjects, and their grades.
· Proficiency in subject matter: high grades (> 90%, preferably > 95%) are expected in intended subject areas or courses.
· The ability to develop a positive rapport with students.
· Excellent communication skills.
· Experience in tutoring children and teenagers.
· ‪Willingness to provide a criminal record check.
· The ability to speak Mandarin.
