We are currently seeking a skilled and motivated Shot Room Nurse (CMA/LPN/RN) to join our team. As a Shot Room Nurse, you will play a critical role in delivering allergy immunotherapy to patients. Your responsibilities will include preparing and administering allergy shots, monitoring patients for reactions, providing patient education and maintaining safety protocols within the shot room. Occasional overtime required. No evenings or holidays. Work Office Float Coverage: Hamilton Road, Westerville, East Broad Street, Grove City, Delaware, Dublin, & Bethel Road. PM20 Requirements Skills/Experience: Qualified applicant should have at least 1 years’ experience in a medical office environment. Excellent oral and written communication skills required. Knowledge of AthenaHealth (formerly GE-Centricity) practice management software, timekeeping software and EHR packages. Knowledge of Microsoft Office software required. Adheres to all HIPAA privacy and security regulations and guidelines. Must be aware of and comply with all OSHA standards and guidelines. Education: RN, LPN &/or CMA Certification required | BLS Certification required
Responsibilities
The Shot Room Nurse will be responsible for preparing and administering allergy immunotherapy shots to patients, while closely monitoring them for any adverse reactions. This role also involves educating patients and strictly maintaining all required safety protocols within the shot room environment.
