About the Role: This is an exciting opportunity for an Allied Health Assistant to join the Child Adolescent Mental Health Services team. Within this role, you will be working with patients 18 years and under and their families and carers to develop and implement cohesive, recovery-oriented responses to the need of the patient and their families/ carers. You will assist in the provision of liaison, consultation and education with other agencies, families and carers. The successful candidate will have thrive working within a multidisciplinary team and have the ability to adapt quickly to busy changing environments. You will be able to respond and prioritise competing demands in a calm and efficient manner while maintaining high work standards. You will also have a commitment and a passion for achieving positive outcomes for children/ young people, their families and/ or carers. Please note this role is required to be available to work within all program areas of CAMHS, as service needs arise and will need to be available for weekend and/ or after-hours work. Please note: A merit pool may be created from this recruitment process and remain valid for 12 months. This pool may be used to fill both permanent and temporary positions across CHS.
