Comprehensive mental health, community health and dental services are delivered through various programs across the Barwon South West Region, including Torquay and Colac.   About the role In this role, the successful applicant will work under the supervision of Audiologists, and be supported by other Allied Health Assistants in a multidisciplinary approach to patient centred care.    Training of the successful applicant will be available in: Primary health care & education on ear and hearing health Use of technology to screen for ear and hearing health problems in adults and children Using Telehealth to link patients in the community with medical specialists and allied health practitioners Ensuring inpatients can hear well enough to participate in shared decision making with other health professionals Helping inpatients with hearing devices when problems are identified   Please note Barwon Health will only contact you via our official email and never use unconventional means, such as text messaging or other services.   About the culture You will have the opportunity to be part of a highly skilled, professional and dedicated team who take pride in providing high quality services.
