An exciting opportunity exists for an Allied Health Assistant to join the Physiotherapy team in the acute hospital at Epworth Richmond. This is a permanent part-time position (7.6 hour shift every second Sunday) that will involve assisting the acute physiotherapy service with the treatment of patients on the orthopaedic, neuroscience, cardio-respiratory, medical and oncology wards. The AHA role will support the treating physiotherapy team by undertaking a broad range of tasks to ensure patient wellbeing and safety, attainment of therapy goals and prevention of functional decline.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Certificate IV AHA and/or other relevant university qualification

• Strong customer service and general people skills
• The ability to collaborate with team members and patients to create an exceptional patient experience
• Excellent with your administration, time management and organisation skills
• The ability to take initiative and have a high level of attention to detail and accuracy in all aspects of your work
