ROLE REQUIREMENTS

• Proof of immunity, or willingness to become vaccinated against, Measles, Mumps, Rubella (MMR), Varicella (Chicken Pox) & Pertussis (Whooping Cough).
• Current Police Screening Certificate
• Current NDIS Worker Screening Check (Yellow Card) and Blue Card (Working with Children Check)
• Current Queensland driver’s licence
• Current First Aid & CPR Certificate
• Good computer & mobile device skills
• Effective communication skills

Your tasks will include:

• Visiting community clients to assess and report on their current needs and devise a therapy plan
• Clinical assessments and treatment of physical and neurological conditions
• Assessing the home environment and prescribing aids, equipment and modifications as required, within funding program guidelines
• Supporting clients in their own homes to work towards self-care development and/or reablement
• Assessment of clients’ mobility and control when moving in their environment
