ABOUT THE ROLE

This role is a great opportunity for graduates in the Allied Health industry. With business increasing we are looking to recruit for multiple positions at Donvale Rehabilitation Hospital. This is an Inpatient and Day Rehabilitation role, working in the Physiotherapy department with a mix of individual, group, hydrotherapy and admin tasks throughout the day. There is also the opportunity to work within our Private Practice, Ramsay Health Plus.
Our Allied Health Assistants work within a supportive team of over 70 Physiotherapists, Exercise Physiologists and AHAs, passionate about providing the best quality care for patients.
Our team prides itself on exceeding Ramsay’s high standard of care with a professional and positive attitude by creating a friendly, caring and comfortable environment for its patients.

All duties are under direction and supervision of Physiotherapists and Exercise Physiologists and include:

  • Assisting with the provision of exercise programs and patient treatments to both inpatients and day patients. This is in the form of land or aquatic based, with both individual and group-based therapy being delivered
  • Department administration tasks
  • Maintenance of department equipment
  • Implementation of changes within the service to ensure excellent clinical outcomes
  • Involvement in departmental and hospital wide quality activitie
