POSITION DESCRIPTION
Are you currently a Barwon Health employee? If so, please log into the People Plus internal careers site via your applications using your network login. Here you will find the full list of jobs available to you. You can then apply though the internal portal.
As an Allied Health Educator, you will lead interprofessional education and training across Barwon Health’s allied health workforce—building capability, supporting competence, and advancing service excellence.
You will design, coordinate, implement, and evaluate high-quality education programs across the organisation. Current portfolios include the Allied Health Early Careers Program, Basic Life Support, Allied Health-Led Grand Rounds, and other interprofessional initiatives. Portfolios may evolve in response to service needs and team skill mix.
A key focus of this role is ensuring strong alignment between profession-specific and interprofessional education programs, working alongside the newly established profession-specific educator roles. You’ll also contribute to developing systems that support consistently high standards in clinical education.
In this dynamic and collaborative position, you’ll work closely with the Education & Training Manager – Allied Health, other educator teams, subject matter experts, and leaders across Barwon Health to support best-practice learning environments aligned with strategic goals and clinical excellence.
This is an ideal opportunity for a senior clinician with a passion for developing others, strong communication skills, and demonstrated experience in education, supervision, and interprofessional learning.
Please note Barwon Health will only contact you via our official email and never use unconventional means, such as text messaging or other services.
