ABOUT US:
Carpentaria is a not-for-profit organisation with a proud 50-year history of providing disability and therapy services for children, adolescents and adults across the Northern Territory. We deliver innovative and flexible services and are committed to a person-centred philosophy that empowers people to thrive and live a great life.
Our Therapy Services team support participants in Darwin and Alice Springs and regularly travel to rural and remote communities including Maningrida, Milingimbi, Ramingining, Galiwin’ku, Katherine, Barunga, Beswick, Kintore, and Papunya.
Carpentaria is standing up a unique, community-focused, multi-disciplinary Allied Health service in Maningrida, located in the heart of Arnhem Land. We’re searching for passionate and experienced clinicians who want to be part of the development and delivery of this pilot program, paving the way for the future of remote Allied Health service delivery.
You’ll be experienced in working with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people or committed to improving the health and wellbeing outcomes of people living in remote communities across the Top End. You’ll be a flexible, adaptable person, seeking adventure and an opportunity to collaborate with other clinicians, stakeholders, and the community of Maningrida.
