Description

ALLOCATION PLANNER

Our client is seeking an experienced Allocation Planner to support product availability and revenue growth by optimizing merchandise flow across multiple sales channels. This role will work cross-functionally to align product allocation strategies with key consumer priorities and financial targets. The ideal candidate is data-driven, collaborative, and comfortable translating complex inventory insights into clear, actionable plans.
This role is a hybrid model in Beaverton, Oregon.

Allocation Planner Responsibilities

  • Develop and manage seasonal and in-season allocation strategies based on consumer priorities, store-level performance, and revenue goals.
  • Create and maintain SKU-level load-in and replenishment plans across all retail locations, adjusting allocations as needed to optimize in-stock levels and minimize missed demand.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams (planning, merchandising, brand, and operations) to execute channel-wide inventory trade strategies that support profitability and sell-through.
  • Monitor weekly store performance to proactively identify variances from plan and rebalance inventory accordingly.
  • Support the execution of allocation plans for new store openings and seasonal launches.
  • Collaborate with planning teams to inform size curve recommendations and influence pre-season buying decisions.

Allocation Planner Qualifications

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in allocation, inventory, or merchandise planning; experience with financial or retail analytics is strongly preferred.
  • Bachelor’s degree required; however, relevant experience may substitute for formal education (e.g., 3–5 years of experience with a high school diploma).
  • Proven ability to communicate insights clearly across varying levels of the business, from peers to leadership.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret large data sets and translate findings into actionable recommendations.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment with shifting priorities.

Compensation: Up to $35.21/hr. (DOE)
