We have an incredible opening for an Business Office Manager to help provide administrative support to our community. Our Business Office Manager: Prepares and reports resident financial information (including check deposit and other Accounts Payable functions) to Corporate Billing. Assists with billing duties including maintaining resident census in billing system, leading resident collections, distributing various resident communication and acting as main resident contact for billing concerns. Review and complete billing statements, accounts payable documents, and other invoices/items. Submits all A/P invoices weekly to Corporate Accounts Payable. Supervises the community concierge/receptionist(s). Functions as Manager on Duty as directed by Executive Director. Assists Executive Director with monthly financial review and the annual budgeting process. Maintain OSHA logs and related documentation to ensure timely updates and compliance with Cal/OSHA and Workers’ Compensation laws. Assists with Human Resources functions including payroll, onboarding, training, compliance/record documentation. Supports the mission, vision, and values of the Transforming Age's Culture of Excellence in all areas of responsibility. Performs other duties as assigned. What you need to succeed: Associate degree in accounting, business, finance, or human resources or the equivalent combination of education and experience. (Bachelor’s preferred) Two to five years of experience in accounts receivable, payroll, and human resources. Minimum 1 year experience supervising at least one employee. The ability to speak, read and comprehend the English language. Experience with employee/customer relations, financial reports, bank reconciliations, and full cycle accounting. High level of proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite products (required - Outlook, Excel, Word). Ability to prioritize work and to prepare accurate and timely reports to meet required deadlines. Working knowledge of California labor laws, leave management (FMLA/CFRA/PDL), and Title 22 regulations. Current driver’s license preferred.
