The State Street Alpha team is seeking an experienced Client Solutions Lead to drive solutions for our clients across all aspects of our Alpha Front to Back platform. Applicants should have a proven track record of understanding and aligning client requirements with enterprise solutions by collaborating with stakeholders including global business architects and product owners to identify business solutions that meet client and product outcomes. This role will be engaged from the start of any new client/prospect interaction, driving solutions and operating model design through the sales process, supporting the implementation to ensure the solution delivered is in line with expectations, and supporting the ongoing client relationship to ensure the client receives maximum value from the Alpha platform. Applicants should be comfortable working in a high growth, complex, fast paced environment helping to drive the firm’s strategy and Alpha product capabilities. This role will have a particular focus on supporting large, multi asset class, global Investment Managers and as such, applicants should have extensive front to back experience across both public and private markets within the investment management industry. Key Responsibilities Act as a senior, trusted client partner, managing relationships, communication, and client sentiment throughout solution design and delivery Consult with Clients to understand their strategy, business objectives, operating model needs and challenges Provide subject matter expertise and industry experience to lead Alpha solution discussions Capture the current end to end model of the client, and articulate future Alpha value proposition including integration between all stakeholders and state of the art technology architectures Solution complex operating models based on detailed understanding of client scope, requirements and goals Where multiple solutions may be available, lead discussions and detailed analysis to ensure there is a rigorous review to determine the best solution for the client and the Alpha business Conduct in-depth analysis of client workflows to identify opportunities for optimization and automation Translate requirements into clear Business Requirement Documents (BRDs) and Business Solution Documents that bridge current state needs to strategic outcomes Work with teams across State Street to drive strategic alignment, identify challenges in operating model design and call out areas that may require technology builds and changes to the existing operating model Influence internal best practice on the approach to operating model design including decision tree criteria where State Street has more than one option to resolve a client requirement Grow your individual knowledge of Alpha and the broader State Street solution set such that you can engage across client types on a multi-product basis Provide support for Request for Information / Proposals and client presentations Ensure solutions align to Alpha product principles, long‑term standards, and scalability objectives Apply strong emotional intelligence to manage escalations, resolve tensions, and maintain momentum across internal teams and client stakeholders This is a sole contributor role, although will require extensive collaboration and influence across the organisation What We Value Leadership and an ability to bring together teams across different levels and disciplines within the organization Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to distill complexity into clear, actionable narratives Curiosity, strong critical thinking, problem solving, decision making and relationship management skills Deep understanding of enterprise platforms, solution architecture, and large‑scale implementation delivery Extensive experience in Front and Middle Office within the Global Investment Management industry Proven track record in designing and implementing complex solutions.
