Description
Under limited supervision, plans, directs, and evaluates total patient care and functions in the transport environment on a particular shift, in accordance with established corporate philosophy. Orients, trains, and manages transport personnel. Relates effectively with other shifts for continuity of care; maintains positive relations with referring and receiving departments and nursing units; participates in all phases of education, maintenance of records, and upgrading of policies, procedures, and skills of personnel. Must be eligible for medical command in the Commonwealth of PA. Education High School Diploma or Equivalent Required Associate's Degree Preferred Bachelor's Degree Preferred Experience 1 year experience performing critical care interfacility transport Preferred 3 years experience (minimum 4000 hours) in 911 or equivalent environment as an EMTParamedic Preferred Licenses Advanced Cardiac Life Support Required Basic Life Support Required Paramedic Certification Required Drivers License Required EMS Vehicle Operator Required Critical Care Paramedic Cert Preferred Natl Reg.
