Description

We have an urgent need here for an Alteryx Developer with our client The Fed. The job description is attached along with 2 sample resumes of what we are looking for.
They prefer candidates local to Richmond, VA or Kansas City, MO for when it converts to full time.
Location : Kansas City, MO or Richmond, VA (remote for now but will be hybrid once converted to FTE)
Duration: 12-month contract to perm project

JOB OVERVIEW:

We are seeking a skilled Alteryx Designer Analyst to join our team and help optimize and maintain complex Alteryx workflows. The ideal candidate will have a solid technical background in Alteryx macros and analytic applications and a willingness to learn, collaborate, and contribute to team-wide improvements. While prior accounting or finance experience would be nice, an instinct for data manipulation and workflow automation is essential.

MUST-HAVE QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Experience with Alteryx macros and analytic apps
  • Ability to trace data through complex workflows
  • Strong problem-solving skills and willingness to learn new techniques (e.g., Alteryx Server, Detour tools, SQL integration)
  • Effective communication and a collaborative mindset
  • Discipline in following team documentation and design best practices

NICE-TO-HAVE QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Knowledge of workflow optimization for efficiency
  • Experience with AWS PostgreSQL and Microsoft SQL Server
  • Familiarity with GitHub, Python, and API creation
  • Working knowledge of Jira for Agile work management
  • Understanding of Entity Relationship Diagrams (ERD) and Business Process Management (BPM) documentation
