DESCRIPTION:

This position is an integral part of the Food & Beverage team. You will play a key role in the organization and supervision of our flagship restaurant, Alto Kitchen & Bar. You have adaptive leadership abilities and a keen desire for exceptional guest experience. The schedule for this position fluctuates to meet the demands of our business levels and the needs of the management team. While your primary focus will be on day-to-day operations of Alto Kitchen & Bar you may also be required to assist in other areas. from time to time.

EXPERIENCE/REQUIREMENTS:

  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Strong verbal, written, analytical, and interpersonal skills.
  • Thoroughly familiar with Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Knowledge of Profitek (or similar) POS system.
  • Ability to prioritize, organize, and manage multiple projects and tasks simultaneously.
  • Excellent people skills including the ability to resolve customer satisfaction problems.
  • Several years experience in Food and Beverage and 1 or more years supervisory experience
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Secondary Education Diploma or Equivalent
  • Should have hands-on experience as bartender, server, and cashier, Serving It Right certificate, out-going and guest oriented
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and work on feet for 9-10 hour shifts
  • Must be available for full-time for the season.
Responsibilities
  • Working closely with the Food & Beverage Manager, ensure that:
  • All administrative responsibilities pertaining to Alto Kitchen & Bar are looked after and monitored.
  • Cash-outs are accurate, sales are entered on the day they occur, participate in inventory counts and general inventory controls.
  • Schedules are written within the needs for the events and that budgeted labour targets are met.
  • Ensure special events are well documented via detailed shift reports and post-mortems.
  • Continually monitor and have active involvement in ordering and maintaining applicable FOH products.
  • There is clear, concise, and professional communication with all other departments on the resort.
  • There is a WOW factor in every guest experience on a daily basis.
  • This is a leadership position where you are accountable for developing and leading a team that creates exceptional guest experiences.
  • You will also play an integral part in and are accountable for high product and service quality and consistency, revenue levels, cost controls and standard operating procedures.
