WHAT WILL YOU DO?

A day in the life of an Senior eCommerce Content Coordinator at Altra looks a little like this.
The Senior eCommerce Content Coordinator will take the lead in defining and managing Altra’s online content requirements, ensuring content aligns with defined customer journeys and digital best practices across the US and Canada websites. Partnering with the brand, design and product teams, this role will use our CMS to bring brand stories, campaigns and product launches to life on the site. This role also owns Search Engine Optimization efforts for Altra in partnership with our 3rd party SEO agency.

Let’s break down that day-in-the-life a bit more.

  • Create and maintain all content pages on altrarunning.com for US and Canada
  • Ideate and code content blocks within the CMS to complete page builds with a mobile-first mentality (light front-end HTML and CSS manipulation experience is required)
  • Manage a contract front end developer to support the creation of experiences with custom HTML, CSS & JavaScript as needed
  • Maintain a comprehensive content calendar and meet regularly with the Marketing Team to develop creative briefs for upcoming content needs and campaigns
  • Collaborate with Digital UX Designers and Creative Department on design phases of page mockups, complete user acceptance testing and then manage all content releases
  • Own relationship with 3rd party SEO agency to ensure existing and future content is optimized for SEO and organic traffic and revenue goals are met
  • Partner with Ecommerce Operations and Ecommerce Merchandising to align on merchandising strategies within content pages
  • Maintain product merchandised on existing content pages, ensuring product is following key franchise style focuses and marketing stories
  • Build relationships with broader VF UX/UI/ID leaders and other brand content managers to ensure Altrarunning.com is implementing best practices and learnings
  • Partner with eCommerce Operations on User Acceptance Testing for content specific features built by digital technologies team
  • Attend sprint demos, documenting available features for Altra and finding ways to leverage these in future content
  • Execute regular audits of the site to ensure all content is rendering as expected and is free from any errors or issues across on all viewports and languages
  • Partner with Ecommerce Analytics to ensure content page performance is tracked in Google Analytics and SEO tools
  • Provide support for any front-end HTML digital project needs (pop-ups, emails, etc.)

  • Demonstrated experience working with an enterprise level CMS
  • Proficient in manipulating HTML and CSS to create engaging responsive experiences
  • Experience implementing SEO best practices
  • Familiarity with CRO best practices
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Experience working with systems such as: Enterprise level CMS (Salesforce Commerce Cloud), Digital Asset Management solutions (Cloudinary), CRO Platform familiarity (Optimizely) and Google Analytic
