Description

ALUMINIUM FABRICATOR

Regal Aluminium are seeking a skilled Aluminium Fabricator to expand on our aluminium window and door manufacturing team.
The ideal candidate will possess experience in working with aluminium, and have experience using both hand and power tools. CNC experience would also be a bonus! Experience in uPVC fabrication would also be acceptable.
As a Fabricator, you will be responsible for fabricating, and assembling various components to meet project specifications. Your mechanical knowledge and attention to detail will play a crucial role in ensuring high-quality production standards.
Working Hours - 42.50 per week (overtime available to suit business needs)
Monday - Thursday 06.30 - 16.00
Friday 06.30 - 13.30
Weekly paid, every Friday, 1-week in arrears. Skilled Craft persons rates.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Proven experience in aluminium fabrication.
  • Proficient in the use of hand tools and power tools relevant to fabrication tasks.
  • Basic maths skills for measurements and calculations related to fabrication tasks.
  • Mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot issues as they arise during the fabrication process.
  • Ability to read production drawings.
  • Attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
  • General health and safety awareness of working in a busy manufacturing setting.
  • Reliable, proactive, and capable of working independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities
  • Fabrication, inclusive of hanging, beading, gasketing, of Aluminium Doors, Windows, Curtain Wall.
  • Fabricate components from aluminium profile according to engineering drawings and specifications.
  • Operate power tools such as saws, routers, crimpers along with hand tools to cut, shape, and assemble materials with precision, safely and efficiently.
  • Assemble finished products or subassemblies as per project requirements.
  • Conduct quality checks on completed work to ensure adherence to safety and quality standards.
  • Maintain a clean and organised workspace, ensuring all tools and equipment are stored properly.
  • Collaborate with team members to meet production deadlines while maintaining high-quality output.
