Description

We are seeking a skilled Aluminium & Steel Welder to join our Body Shop team. The successful candidate will specialize in repairing, fabricating, and welding aluminium and steel vehicle components with precision and adherence to industry standards. This role requires expertise in lightweight and structural materials to ensure vehicles meet the highest safety, aesthetic, and performance standards.

QUALIFICATIONS & CERTIFICATIONS:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Mandatory certifications:
  • Aluminium welding certification (AWS or I-CAR).
  • Steel welding certifications WCA03 and WCS03.
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in automotive aluminium and steel welding, preferably with high-end or luxury vehicles.
  • Strong English communication skills (verbal and written).
  • Additional certifications from automotive manufacturers or body shop organizations are an advantage.

TECHNICAL SKILLS:

  • Proficiency in MIG and TIG welding for both aluminium and steel.
  • Ability to interpret technical drawings, repair manuals, and blueprints.
  • Knowledge of modern Body Shop tools, repair techniques, and safety standards.
  • Strong problem-solving and time-management abilities.
    Job Type: Full-time
    Pay: AED3,000.00 - AED4,000.00 per month

Responsibilities
  • Perform precision MIG and TIG welding on aluminium panels, chassis, and structural components.
  • Carry out welding and repair tasks on steel body parts and reinforcements.
  • Repair dents, cracks, and damaged panels while ensuring compliance with manufacturer guidelines.
  • Collaborate with Body Shop technicians to assess damage and determine repair methods.
  • Fabricate custom aluminium and steel parts as required.
  • Inspect completed welds for integrity, alignment, and finish quality.
  • Maintain welding tools, equipment, and safety gear in proper working condition.
  • Adhere strictly to workplace safety standards and PPE requirements.
