JOB DESCRIPTION
The Aluminum and Glass Fabrication Engineer is responsible for overseeing the manufacturing or production operations within team. Reporting to the Production/Project Manager they are responsible for ensuring efficient production processes, meeting production schedule as per the projects’ requirements, managing resources, and maintaining product quality.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
· Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Civil Engineering or any similar field.
· Proven experience of 3 years as a Production Engineer or in a similar production leadership role in construction or interior fit-out company.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
At least 3 years of experience in Interior Fit-out Contracting/Construction.
Oversee and direct the on-site installation of all glass and aluminum projects.
Evaluate and analyze shop drawings and technical specifications associated with glass and aluminum systems.
Make sure all tasks are carried out in accordance with project specifications, quality benchmarks, and safety prerequisites.
Work in close collaboration with the project sites, production, procurement, and subcontractors to support project timelines.
Carry out site evaluations, manage quality assurance, and address any technical challenges on-location.
Create and deliver regular progress reports on work to the project manager.
Make certain that every installation task adheres to safety guidelines and company regulations.
Extensive understanding of curtain walls, spider systems, skylights, doors, partitions, cladding, and structural glazing.
Capability to interpret and execute intricate shop drawings for glass and aluminum projects.
Ability and experience in leading a small team and organizational abilities in fast paced projects
Develop production plans, schedules, and resource allocation strategies to meet sites/projects demand and production targets.
Coordinate with the design team to ensure alignment between design and production requirements.
Monitor production progress, identify bottlenecks, and implement strategies to optimize production efficiency.
Identify opportunities to improve manufacturing processes, reduce waste, and increase productivity.
Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in production management.
Conduct safety training sessions and awareness programs to mitigate workplace hazards and prevent accidents.
