      Momentum Manufacturing is looking for a Press Operator/Production assistant. We will train the right person.  First, Second and Third shifts, with occasional overtime as needed. We offer medical, dental, vision, employer paid Short Term Disability, employer paid life insurance, Paid Time Off, Holidays, 401k with a match after one year of employment.   JOB PURPOSE The Extrusion Operator is responsible for working on the line in a multi-press operation to ensure production targets are met. Operation of Extrusion Press at the best possible speed while maintaining a good quality extrusion. Handles the movement of material to and from the saw area, along with monitoring and checking the quality of extrusion according to ISO standards.  Willing to consider candidates new to manufacturing with steady work history.   General Duties and Responsibilities:  * Following company policies, procedures, and directives regarding safety and standards of workplace behavior, in completing job duties as assigned * Operate cranes and forklifts to move raw material and tooling when needed * Inform the production leader of any maintenance or safety issues * Die management; Ensure all necessary tooling is available at the beginning and throughout shift * Check finish dimensions on extrusions at the required frequency * Monitor press speeds and temperatures, while maintaining a good quality extrusion * Ensure proper billets/logs are in the ovens and monitor the supply to keep the press going * Be able to perform duties and responsibilities across all extrusion presses as needed   Qualifications:  * High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred * 1 to 2 years experience in the production environment * Must be able to read and understand shop orders and prints * Must be reliable with a good work ethic and attitude * Must have mechanical aptitude  * Willing to consider candidates new to manufacturing with steady work history.  
Responsibilities
The Extrusion Operator is responsible for working on the line in a multi-press operation to meet production targets by operating the extrusion press efficiently while maintaining high quality. This includes handling material movement, monitoring extrusion quality according to ISO standards, and managing tooling.
