At Avilion Metalcraft, we specialize in high-quality custom metal fabrication, with a focus on aluminum, stainless steel and glass guardrails for residential and commercial applications. We are a small but growing team dedicated to craftsmanship, and customer satisfaction.

POSITION OVERVIEW:

We are currently seeking a highly motivated and experienced Aluminum & Stainless Steel Fabricator. The ideal candidate is someone who leads by example, takes initiative, and brings a positive, solutions-oriented attitude to the shop every day. This is a hands-on role that requires both technical skill and a strong sense of teamwork.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Minimum 2 years of fabrication experience with aluminum and stainless steel (TIG & MIG welding preferred)
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
  • Familiarity with metalworking tools and machinery
  • A self-starter with a proactive mindset and a willingness to step up where needed
  • Strong leadership qualities and a team-first attitude
  • Physically fit and able to lift 50 lbs regularly
  • Reliable, punctual, and detail-oriented
  • Forklift experience
  • Powder coating experience considered an asset

Responsibilities
  • Fabricate and weld aluminum and stainless steel railings to precise specifications
  • Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and shop plans
  • Use saws, grinders, drill press and other metalworking tools
  • Assist with fitting, prepping and assembly of final products
  • Take ownership of projects, ensuring they move efficiently through the shop
  • Support and collaborate with teammates; help guide less experienced staff when needed
  • Perform general shop duties, including cleaning, organizing materials, and helping with deliveries or pickups
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment
  • Communicate effectively with the shop manager and team to meet deadlines and uphold quality standards
