Description

RigMaster Power – Global leader of anti-idling solutions for the transportation industry is looking for a dynamic Tig Welder that can support the fabrication and assembly of various steel and aluminum structures.

Responsibilities

  • Performs production welding in a fast-paced environment.
  • Read and interpret weld symbols on shop drawings and blueprints.
  • Analyze engineering drawings and specifications to plan welding operations where procedural information is unavailable
  • Ensures that all welds are complete and of good quality, repair bad welds as necessary.
  • Maintains a positive, clean and orderly work environment.
  • Works in a safe and productive manner.
  • Collaborate with lead welder to ensure that the proper weld procedure, type of material, and rod size are accurately assessed for each welding project
  • Welding assembly and fabrication on various small to large scale structures and assemblies
  • Make a continuous effort to improve operations, decrease turnaround times, streamline work processes, and work cooperatively and jointly
  • Effectively communicate with management/supervisors, engineering staff, and planners to achieve build efficiency
  • Check work after completion of each operation in job and/or completed job to ensure it is complete per drawing
  • Perform other related duties, as assigned, for the purpose of ensuring an efficient and effective work environment

Basic Qualifications
· High school diploma, GED or equivalent
· 2+ years of TIG welding experience – Aluminum
· Ability to grind different welds
Preferred Skills and Experience
· Welding license, certification (e.g. CWB tickets)
· Valid Driver’s License
· Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $23.00-$28.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
