OVERVIEW The Aluminum Welder is responsible for performing weld preparation, welding, and finishing operations to manufacture high-quality products based on customer drawings and specifications. This role requires precision, strong technical skills, and adherence to safety and quality standards in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. SHIFT(S): Day & Night Shift Available WHAT YOU’LL DO • Perform aluminum welding using TIG (GTAW) and MIG (GMAW) processes • Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and welding symbols • Prepare materials by cleaning, cutting, and fitting components prior to welding • Inspect welds to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications • Operate and maintain welding equipment and tools safely • Repair damaged aluminum parts and structures • Follow OSHA safety standards and company safety protocols • Collaborate with team members, fabricators, and supervisors to complete projects efficiently • Maintain a clean and organized work area • Participate in safety training and report any safety concerns • Perform other duties as assigned WHAT YOU’LL NEED • High school diploma or GED • 5+ years of experience with aluminum welding and related processes • Proficiency in TIG (GTAW) and MIG (GMAW) welding • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality • Experience completing inspections and maintaining accurate records • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines • Strong understanding of welding safety practices and procedures • Good communication and teamwork skills WHAT WE OFFER • Competitive pay • Paid Time Off (for eligible full-time employees) • Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, and Disability insurance options • 401(k) Retirement Plan • Career growth opportunities • Safe, supportive, and team-oriented work environment WHAT IT’S LIKE As an Aluminum Welder, you’ll work in a hands-on shop environment focused on quality, safety, and precision while contributing to high-impact manufacturing projects. PHYSICAL & WORK ENVIRONMENT REQUIREMENTS: • Lift and move materials up to 50 lbs regularly • Work performed in a non-climate-controlled shop environment • Stand and/or walk up to 10 hours per day, up to 6 days per week • Frequent bending, twisting, reaching (including overhead), and maintaining balance • Occasional kneeling, crouching, crawling, and climbing ladders • Use hands frequently for handling, grasping, and coordination tasks • Ability to push, pull, or carry materials up to 50 lbs over short distances • Requires normal vision, hand-eye coordination, and no color blindness • Hearing ability required (ear protection recommended) • PPE required: steel-toe boots, safety glasses, and hard hat Apache Workforce is an equal opportunity employer.
