About the Role:  Working closely with the Alumni Relations Manager and the broader Advancement team, the Alumni Relations Coordinator contributes to the delivery of alumni engagement programs that strengthen connections between VU and its alumni community.  Position Key Duties: Examples of some of the duties you will undertake: * Contributing to the design and delivery of alumni engagement programs, including mentoring, volunteering, events and digital initiatives.  * Coordinating program delivery, including logistics, communications and stakeholder engagement, ensuring activities are delivered on time and within budget. * Contributing to digital engagement and communications, including email campaigns, social media and website content. * Contributing to the evaluation and continuous improvement of alumni programs using data and sector benchmarks. * Building collaborative relationships across the University to identify and support alumni engagement opportunities.  Position Details: * Classification: HEP 7 * Salary: $101,288 – 109,639 Plus 17% Super  * Employment Type: Full Time – Ongoing * Hours per Week: 36.75/1 FTE * Location: Footscray Park Campus – 3 days on-site For a detailed overview of the role’s duties and responsibilities, please refer to the Position Description: Alumni Relations Coordinator [https://webresources.vu.edu.au/hr/employment/pdf/2026/415_HEP 7 - Alumni Relations Coordinator.pdf] About You: The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong initiative, organisational, communication and relationship management skills, with the ability to deliver alumni programs and initiatives that engage the University’s global alumni community and align with VU’s strategic priorities and Advancement Plan.   The successful applicant will:   * Demonstrate experience in relationship management and project coordination, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.  * Demonstrate experience in delivering digital and direct marketing communications, including content development and email campaigns.  * Demonstrate strong interpersonal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage and influence diverse stakeholders.  * Demonstrate experience leading and delivering engagement activities and programs, ideally within a community-focused environment.  * Demonstrate initiative and sound judgement to drive continuous improvement and enhance program outcomes.      The University is a Child Safe organisation. You will be required to hold a current Employee - Working with Children Check (WWCC) or be willing to obtain one prior to commencing employment.     How to Apply To submit your application please click on the Apply button.
