What does the job look like?

Linfox is seeking an experienced Fleet Controller to join the busy team at Chullora. As part of the role, you are responsible for coordinating vehicle operations for the pick-up and delivery of customer product. The role requirements will vary from administrative requirements of the branch to overseeing drivers. The hours for this position will be 5 am to 1 pm working Monday to Friday. Key areas:

  • Supervision of movement of freight throughout the rail network
  • Effective communication with drivers to ensure all work is completed in accordance to KPI’s and safety/compliance guidelines.
  • Escalate any service or safety incidents to the Operations Manager.
  • Accurate administration of customer accounts and invoices.
  • Effective communication with all stakeholders.

You enjoy working in a challenging role and can execute service excellence in a transport operation. You are a problem solver, and solutions focused. You can demonstrate:

  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in a similar role
  • Experience working interstate rail network (desirable)
  • Experience in working with SAP, Excel and TMS systems
  • Strong planning, reporting, data analysis and analytical skills
  • High customer services focus, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Sound geographical knowledge of the Sydney Metro Area
