This role is ideal for a morning-oriented server who brings calm energy, consistency, and genuine warmth to start each guest’s day on the right note. Summary: As an AM Server at Tavernonna, you set the tone for the guest experience. You’ll provide attentive, efficient breakfast service while maintaining a welcoming and unhurried atmosphere. This role requires strong communication skills, organization, and the ability to manage both early-morning pace and guest expectations with grace. Duties & Responsibilities: Deliver friendly, attentive breakfast service in a relaxed morning environment Greet guests warmly and create a positive first impression to start their day Guide guests through breakfast menu offerings, including ingredients and preparation methods Take accurate food and beverage orders and serve items safely and efficiently Monitor tables and anticipate guest needs, including refills and special requests Process checks and payments accurately in accordance with company policies Maintain cleanliness of tables, glassware, silverware, and service areas throughout service Prepare your station prior to opening, maintain it during service, and break it down at shift end Communicate effectively with the kitchen and support staff to ensure smooth service flow Report tips accurately in compliance with IRS and company guidelines Maintain a professional, calm, and positive attitude with guests and coworkers Assist with side work and additional tasks as assigned Requirements Qualifications: Prior breakfast or daytime serving experience preferred Strong guest service skills with a warm, approachable demeanor Ability to work early mornings, weekends, and holidays as needed Strong attention to detail and time management skills Ability to multitask in a steady-paced breakfast environment Professional appearance and team-oriented mindset Ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 50 lbs for extended periods High school diploma or equivalent experience Ability to obtain and maintain required food and beverage certifications Benefits: Competitive salary Annual review with increase potential 401k program with company match Medical, Dental, and Vision insurance available to eligible employees Wellness benefits available to eligible employees Arbor’s Guiding Principles: Arbor Lodging focuses on Five Guiding Principles to foster a culture where growth, development, and progression thrive within the properties: Do the Right Thing - Operate and act with integrity in all you do even when it is not convenient.
