Description

Stevenage Overnight Parcels are looking for an enthusiastic and experienced individual with a background in courier, depot, or logistics operations to join our small, friendly team.
Working alongside your fellow Supervisor, you will be responsible for managing the morning freight sort and ensuring all parcels are dispatched with the correct drivers, while maintaining strict Health & Safety procedures.
This is a hands-on, varied role—ranging from overseeing the unloading of trunk vehicles, supervising parcel sorters, and scanning freight, to planning driver routes using our bespoke mapping software.
The position suits someone who thrives in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and enjoys both working as part of a team and taking the lead.

EXPERIENCE & SKILLS REQUIRED

  • Physically fit, able to lift up to 30kg
  • Knowledge of SG/AL6–AL10 areas advantageous
  • Minimum 2 years’ warehouse supervisor experience (including trailer loading/unloading)
  • Strong IT skills and ability to learn new systems
  • Excellent communication skills (spoken and written)
  • Forklift licence preferred (training can be provided)
  • Full UK driving licence (max 3 points); experience with large vans beneficial
