Empire Distributors Inc, A Leading Beverage Distributor is now hiring an AM Warehouse Worker in Austell, GA. Hiring Immediately! $ 20.00 Hourly Monday through Friday Morning Shift! Essential Duties and Responsibilities * This person will pull orders, stock, store, and distribute inventory and products within the warehouse. This person will also load trucks for next day delivery. * Utilizes computerized inventory systems to include SAP and KEA. * Reads schedules, orders and other requisitions to determine items to be moved, gathered, or distributed. Transfers inventory lines to vehicles for next day deliveries. * Replenishes inventory lines as needed. * Conveys materials and items from receiving or production areas to storage or to other designated areas. * Sorts and places materials or items on racks, shelves, or in bins according to predetermined sequence such as size, type, style, color, or product code. * Fills requisitions, work orders, or requests for stock items and places inventory on vehicles. Sorts and stores perishable goods in refrigerated areas. * Marks materials with identifying information. * Opens bales, crates, and other containers. Repacks containers as necessary. * Weighs or counts items for distribution to ensure conformance to company standards. * Operates various pieces of warehouse equipment (Cherry Pickers, Forklifts, Slip Sheet, Clamp, Electric Pallet Jacks, etc). * Assist with counting of inventory. * Cleans and maintains warehouse daily according to clean up specifications as directed by team lead and management. * Other duties as assigned by the Morning Manager, Supervisor, and Lead. Education and/or Experience * High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Certificates, Licenses, Registrations * Forklift Certificate - Must have the ability to receive and sustain a license to drive a forklift.
